Single-Bolt Heavy-Duty Hose Clamp (Most Common, Reusable & Adjustable)✅ Standard Installation StepsPrep & CleaningThoroughly clean the surfaces of the hose and pipe fitting, removing oil, dust, rust and burrs to prevent poor sealing and slipping of the clamp.Pre-positioningFirst slide the clamp onto one end of the hose (never onto the pipe first, as connection will not be possible). Then insert the hose evenly onto the pipe fitting to a depth of at least 15mm (or 1.5 times the hose wall thickness), ensuring concentric alignment with no creases or misalignment.Position AdjustmentMove the clamp to the overlapping joint of the hose and pipe. Make sure the band fully encircles the hose, with the screw housing positioned away from high-stress or abrasive areas, and the band tail lying flat without lifting.Gradual TighteningUse a screwdriver or wrench to turn the screw clockwise, tightening slowly and evenly while observing:The hose deforms slightly but does not crack or bulgeThe band stays aligned and flat with even contactDo not fully tighten in one motion, to avoid crushing the hose or breaking the clamp band.InspectionGently pull the hose to confirm no looseness and no leakage at the joint. For high-pressure applications, a pressure test is recommended to ensure reliable sealing.✅ Removal MethodTurn the screw counterclockwise to fully loosen the band, then remove the clamp. It can be reused.
